The O&E Team invites you to a 30-minute presentation on the signs of mental illness and stigma reduction. The webinar will promote positive mental health using an action plan and identify symptoms of common brain disorders, as well as introduce cultural and social causes of stigma and promote empathy and empowerment.

• What mental health means

• Causes of mental illness and how it is diagnosed

• Signs and symptoms of common mental disorders

• Current types of treatments and resources

• Stigma associated with reaching out for support and how to advocate

The facilitators will also offer an additional 30 minutes following the presentation to answer any questions, and conduct one-on-ones for skill buildings as needed/requested by participants.
