It’s almost that time of year again! The holidays are right around the corner and this year’s Families Helping Families program is now underway.
Each year our Families Helping Families Event brings the joy of the holiday spirit to hundreds of Orange County’s most vulnerable families. You have the power to make a profound difference in someone’s life this holiday season.
About Families Helping Families
Families Helping Families Is The Priority Center’s
annual “adopt a family” program that benefits
those supported by The Priority Center’s lifechanging
programs.
Unfortunately, more than 95% of The Priority Center’s children and families live below the federal poverty line, so the holidays are often stressful and challenging for them, especially as some of life’s most basic needs continue to increase.
Our annual program finds compassionate donors to fulfill our children’s holiday wish lists and provide them with gift cards to purchase the family’s greatest needs. In many cases, the only holiday gifts our families receive come through Families Helping Families.
Meet Sarah’s Family
We invite you to become a “Santa” and adopt a family like Sarah’s.
Sarah is a devoted mother raising two young boys and joyfully anticipating the arrival of her daughter. It is a struggle for the family, as both she and her husband work tirelessly full-time yet still can’t keep up with the soaring cost of living.
Sarah has been forced to make painful cuts deep into the home budget, eliminating any possibility of saving for their future. Currently, this family relies on the essential help of community resources just to cover their basic needs. Providing gifts for their children this holiday season is not possible in their current situation.
Last year, thanks to your support, we helped bring holiday cheer to over 200 Priority Center children and families!
