Job Summary 

The Donor Database Coordinator is responsible for assisting in and supporting fundraising operations within the Development Department. The Donor Database Coordinator will process, track and acknowledge gifts in the donor database and complete tasks related to fundraising, including creating fundraising reports and supporting donor cultivation and stewardship strategies that advance the mission of The Priority Center (formerly the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center).

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate all donation processing, receipting, acknowledging, and pledge management activity in the donor database
  • Works in collaboration with development and/or accounting staff in coordinating monthly financial reconciliation, data integrity of donation information, and data input, while adhering to departmental policies and procedures
  • Create, maintain, and execute queries and reports that track fundraising progress
  • Serve as the point person for list management and execution for mailings, e-communications
  • Support development staff on distribution of newsletters, online appeals, and E-blasts
  • Works with Events and Donor Relations Manager to provide pre and post event support and to assist with volunteer projects
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Development

 

Qualifications: 

  • CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
  • Basic data entry experience
  • Experience in a nonprofit setting/fundraising environment
  • Familiarity with gift processing and/or fund-raising principles
  • Must be tenaciously deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational and analytic skills
  • Must handle confidential donor information with sensitivity, integrity, and accuracy
  • Must organize and prioritize work in accordance with supervisory input
  • Must be flexible to work outside the normal schedule to accommodate and support evening events and occasional weekend fundraising/volunteer projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Exceptional time management
  • Basic office support skills
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
